Closure FAQ

Q. Is this the same as the flash version?

        A. No, it's being remade from the ground up, not in flash.

Q. So I'm gonna have to download this?

        A. When it's out, yes.

Q. Will I have to pay for it?

        A. Most likely, yes, this is my job for the next year and a half and living isn't cheap. I'm surviving off of mac and cheese, chilli, and sphagetti while I'm working, in addition to having to pay for rent, cable/internet, and tuition (which isn't very cheap either).

Q. Why would I pay for something that I can play for free online?

        A. The difference between the flash version and this one is the difference between the original Mario Bros. arcade game and Super Mario World for the SNES.

Q. The flash version sucked and you suck I'm not buying it.

        A. That's your choice. its ur choice u choose.

Q. You have bad grammar.

        A. It's an in-joke.

Q. When is the game coming out?

        A. Sometime after it's done. I don't know yet; I've never tackled a project this ambitious, and this is my first time outside of school tackling a full project in c++/opengl instead of flash. It's quite fun, but I'm also learning a ton and reading a ton as I work. Next year (2010) most likely.

Q. What system is it coming out for?

        A. Mac and PC most definately. I'm still working out the details of what else to release on. It's not quite as easy as "Hey microsoft/sony/nintendo, want a game?"

Q. I'm just gonna pirate it when it comes out.

        A. Keep in mind that if you do you're stealing money from starving college students.

Q. Well maybe you should get jobs.

        A. We have jobs, it's called "making this game."

Q. Ok sounds good, I can't wait.

        A. Cool, neither can we.
